‘Perspectives’ is a collaboration between the painter and the muse.
  The painter Ignacio made a series of paintings of Wietske, who wrote a series of poems and monologues.
  We explored how the roles of a painter and a muse are divided, today, for us.
  How is the painter also a muse for the muse who is also an artist? What does it mean to be a man, what does it mean to be a woman; in this classic division of roles.
  We’ve been looking closely at our imagination and how that what isn’t ‘real’, connects to us both. Our imagination.
  During a dark time in which the pandemic took place, we lived together closely, inspired each other and worked together. At the time the muse was getting haunted by hallucinations. She was Zoë. During the collaboration she transformed back into her ‘real self’; Wietske. This transformation is seen in the series.
  It’s about friendship and understanding each our darkness.
